Highflyer Wines Tasting Room

At Somerston Estate our winery offers a comfortable indoor tasting facility and an outdoor patio surrounded by beautiful valleys and majestic mountain tops.

Off-Road Vineyard Experience
Experience a breathtaking all-terrain vineyard tour of Somerston Estate. You will be guided, by one of their wine specialists in an open air all-terrain passenger vehicle, through their extensive vineyard property visiting their unique vineyard blocks where their estate wines are grown. Following your tour experience, you will enjoy a tasting of their limited production estate wines perfectly paired with a selection of artisan cheeses all while taking in dramatic views of their vineyards form their patio.

On the tour you will receive an informative understanding on viticulture and what roll it plays in producing their high quality limited production estate wines. You will also visit their restored turn of the century barn, flower gardens, mountaintop vistas and small island on their lake all surrounded by their world-class vineyards and untouched nature. Come for an afternoon and leave with a lifetime of memories.

They also have a tasting room in Yountville. Their wine tasting room in Yountville features a very inviting, comfortable yet sophisticated setting. Current release wines from their Priest Ranch and Highflyer portfolios are available for purchase and tasting. A private tasting of their Somerston Estate wines is also available by appointment. They have artisan cheese plates and exquisite chocolates by La Foret to enhance your tasting experience. Relax on their sofa, plan a private tasting experience or enjoy their outdoor courtyard and rooftop terrace. They are open 7 days a week for your tasting and lounging pleasure.
