Winery Reviews

Love this winery. We went here knowing that there tasting fee was prett pricey, so were taking a gamble and hoping the wine would be worth it. It totally met our expectations. Each taste was unique, flavorful and made me want more.

The atmosphere is really nice as well. I have been to both sides of the spectrum--really laid back wineries nd really snooty wineries and this one fits somewhere in the middle. While it is pretty upscale, it is not uptight.

Definitely recommend this tasting room experience!!

I have been blown away by A&O's chardonnay. We visited their tasting room one day only because they were one of about 10 wineries open in the Napa Valley on a holiday. The mood in the tasting room was a little more pretentious (by staff and patrons alike) than most Napa wineries, but the white wines really came out solid. Each of the white wines we tasted were all oak aged, and if I recall correctly none of them hit steel at all. I prefer oaked whites that are only mildly buttery, and Alpha Omega certainly delivers on that. I don't remember their reds being as memorable.

Walking in with low expectations certainly made their wine shine for us. Even though they are a large winery on Highway 29 in Napa Valley, we had never heard of them before or tasted their wares. We certainly need to return and see if perhaps our opinions have changed since.
