Burrell School Vineyards

Fun winery with a lot of charm. Located in an old schoolhouse, and offering fun wine labels like valedictorian and honor role, you are sure to have an enjoyable experience.

I have been here numerous times and unfortunately there have been some times where the wines were a little off, I still love the experience of grabbing a sandwich from the amazing grocery store down the street, buying a bottle of vino and sitting among the vines on their patio.

They luckily offer an actual bathroom for ladies. Sorry guys, you are stuck with the port-o-potty.

I have been a huge Burrell School fan for a number of years primarily because of the cute charming property and fantastic sunset view at their tasting room. The wines have fluctuated significantly during that time that I attribute to the wine sitting on shelves that are beaten on by the sun. Sometimes there are a few bottles that taste very interesting, and other times there isn't a single wine that tastes good. I would certainly buy more of their wine if they were able to control the quality.

Buying sandwiches down the street at the market and then coming in to buy a bottle and watch the sun is an enjoyable experience. It's a relaxing and unpretentious environment with no pressure to buy.

They only have port-o-potties, so be sure you go to the bathroom before you visit, or you might just get a little "barnyard" when you quaff.
